Only thing I will say is it is quite manual for when it comes to moving the camera around, compared to other games where the joystick on the right controller is often used to move the camera alongside physically moving your head, or turning your body, which can get tedious at points for players who are wired closely between their VR headset and their PC.
Two main points you may be aware of that I can point out are. It would be great to have smooth turning on the right thumbstick. The snapturn with combination of move left thumbstick in direction then click down on left thumbstick (Quest 2 touch controllers) is not natural or intuitive at all.
Nice port. I just would wish that snap turning could be mapped on the right analog stick of the Valve Index knuckle controller instead of left trigger + left Analog stick.Is there any way to remap this?
I'm using Oculus Rift and I couldn't get snap turning to work. I wish it was just on the right thumbstick like other games. Otherwise good work, I like how you have to reach out to open doors rather than just press a button. Now if only someone would add snap turning to that VR Doom port...
I can say the same here as above. The rift controller maps shown does not match the regular mapping at all (which all does fell nicely). The only that does not work is snapturn that could been mapped to the right stick.
Doesn't work for me either, the only snap turning I can do is by holding the left grip button and pressing X and that just turns left. Would be nice to have it just mapped to the right control stick like every other VR game in existence.

After the download completed, please, use an md5 checksum tool (search Google for free md5 checksum tools) and calculate md5 checksum of the downloaded file. If the resulting string is the same as that published together with the download link, then you can be sure, that your downloaded file is the exact copy of the file offered for download on my web server. At this point, the installation will certainly be OK. However, if your calculated md5 checksum is different from the figure published with the download link, then the downloaded file is corrupt, and you must delete such a corrupted file and attempt another download, hoping that it will be OK.
If the sample set installation has several parts, check the md5 checksum for each part, and download again only the parts with mismatched md5 checksum! Try downloading with a different browser, different download manager or different computer when your first download was faulty. Browsers sometimes cheat and if the same download tool is used again, the new download may have the same error as the previous one.
